Cartoons! The only reason I ever woke up at 6am when I was younger. It seems back then cartoons were played a lot more than now. I remember one of the local stations would always have cartoons from 3pm-5pm during the weekdays, perfect for a kid in elementary school. Now, it's just one of those boring court shows. Even Saturday mornings seem lacking for cartoons, with live-action kids shows or informercials usually replacing them. I have to admit though, it's hard to sit down and watch a cartoon as an adult. I start nitpicking the small things and there is no simple joy in watching. Even so, I do watch an episode of older cartoons whenever possible.
